About me
My architectural practice has taken me to several different parts of the world. My professional experience has involved divergent project approaches, different ways of working and handling commissions.
My first job, in Tunisia, tested my capacity to adapt to challenging working conditions: here I understood the importance of an open mind and cross-cultural competence.
After relocating to Sweden I worked for a Stockholm based, but essentially British practice, Rupert Gardner Design. Here I gained proficiency in detailing, did furniture and lighting design and dealt with several parallel projects simultaneously.
In Slovakia and Indonesia I had the opportunity to cooperate with manufacturers in finding non-standard design solutions. Already in 2006 I successfully carried out a medium size project being responsible for the team of consultants, project management and client communication.
Back again in Sweden and working as a project architect, SAR MSA for Erséus arkitekter, I learned the importance of standardized design engineering. I grasped the applicable building codes and regulations for residential and office buildings and successfully used them in a way that pushed our design forward.
In 2015 I took a chamber examination in professional practice and became a chartered member of the Slovak Chamber of Architects. I co-started Keppl architekti s.r.o., a small architecture studio that have been active across Central Europe since 2014.
Since the summer of 2018 working as a senior architect at Nyréns arkitektkontor in Stockholm, Sweden.
